called the store to make an order through the phone as I was moving to Victoria in a couple of months. I got a very polite salesman who was very patient and understanding ( Jim), who worked with me for well over an hour to not only meet my budget but my time of delivery. Along the the general manager ( I think his name is Rod) we worked out what would best match with my blueprint of my condo and my taste. We picked out furniture for my entire condo. I have bought a lot furniture over the years from average to high end, and have had some issues particularly with The Brick , but was taken back by how this store, in specific has been by far the best furniture store I have had to deal with.
I usually never do any reviews but seeing how The Brick does not have a good reputation I wanted to shed some light that it is more about the customer experience than anything. I have also sent customer(s) there as well since I moved and they gave me very positive feed back and said the service and experience was amazing.
If you walk in with a positive attitude and explain your needs and wants the entire store will be more than willing to go above and beyond for you. I really appreciated the staff's sense of humour, honesty and pressure free approach.
I highly recommend you go in there even if it's for some small purchase. I have yet to deal with anyone there that wasn't so pleasant. ( I have been in there several times now!)
