The Brick Complaint
The worst delivery service ever - Had to call the police!!!
The first day the drivers called 25 minutes past the 3 hr window I was provided and said they would be another hour. We had plans so we had to leave....
Attempt number 2 - 3 hour window given... 20 minutes after that window I called the service department and spoke with someone who said they would investigate and got no response
until much later that day that they would have to re deliver. (6 hrs spent waiting so far!!). Attempt #3 - today was once again given a 3 hr window and 30 minutes after that window called yet again... while I was on the line the truck showed up! Over 9 hours waiting... then here is the worse part.
Since we paid the brick to assemble the original product and after the assemble was done the lovely gentlemen who assembled the product noticed that there was a crack all the way through one of the side rails. I was told to call The Brick and get a replacement and then he would come back and re assemble it again with the replacement piece. He said it was sturdy enough for now and there was little danger to use it. Soooo.. when the delivery men showed up today to deliver the piece they said they had to take the broken piece with them. I said that the original piece was still in the bed and that the assemble person would be re installing the new piece, then they can come back and collect the broken piece.
I had taken the piece and put in inside my house as I was done with all this nonsense... at that point in time one of the drivers walked in my house and said he was taking the piece since the other piece was not available to him. I asked him to leave my house and he would not... I literally had to scream at him and he still would not leave my house. I told him he was trespassing as I did not invite him in my home. At this point I called the police. After the other gentlemen who was with him called his supervisor and I asked them to get out of my house and wait on the front porch for the police to arrive. In the meantime I called the customer service department at The Brick and they finally agreed to leave the piece and have the installation person come back to reinstall it..... I cannot believe the audacity of this delivery guy to not leave a person s home when they are asked.... He was never invited in in the first place. Needless to say Never will I ever Purchase anything from the Brick again...Appalling!!!
