Horrible Service, Incomplete Delivery. - Kitchen appliances


My wife and I purchased all new appliances for our home, and due to the custom sizes we required the bill was quite high (expected). We were very specific that we expected delivery exactly one week from the purchase date. Three days later we recieved a call that the appliances were all loaded and ready for delivery. We made them cancel at this point and reschedule for our requested date.

On the requested date, we hadn't recieved a call by 4:00PM to confirm delivery for that day, so we decided to call The Brick once more. The delivery truck had experienced technical difficulties, but were getting on the road, so we could expect delivery around 8:00PM.

By 10:00PM the appliances still had not arrived, so my wife called the delivery driver and was hung up on eleven times before recieving a text message stating that we would not be recieving the appliances that day. As we had installation booked for the following day, we asked that our appliances could be delivered early AM the following day. We recieved one responce to that question: NO.

At 4:00PM the day after delivery was expected, we once again had not heard anything, so my wife once again called The Brick, who informed us that the delivery driver had reported that we cancelled the delivery of our items. This was quickly resolved by the employee who handled the call, and we were told to expect our appliances within the hour.

They finally arrived at 5:15 the day after delivery. The delivery crew brought all of the items into our dining room, at which point they informed us they had spent too much time at our property and the rest was up to us. I laughed at this comment, as I thought it was a little absurd, and was immediately mocked by the driver for laughing, who then approached me saying "you think you have a f****** sense of humor do you?"

We promply had the crew leave our home, as this behaviour is more than unacceptable, and found that they had left with all of the trims for our built in oven, and the kick plate for our dishwasher.

It has now been 5 days since we reported that the trim was missing from our appliances to The Brick, and we have yet to find a solution.

I know this is a long story, but I am utterly disgusted at the lack of professionalism that was shown by this company. I will never, ever be shopping at The Brick again.
