The Brick Complaint
Full Circle Protection Plan: Not Meeting Value Back Redemption Agreement - Full Circle Protection Plan
The expiry date was hand written on the agreement jacket was Dec 31, 2013 (you have 90 days to redeem the money back from this date) - nowhere is it indicated on the agreement the period of the warranty nor the expiry date.
We tried to redeem the credit this January and found that it can only be used for furniture and can not be for more than one item. So we selected what we wanted but when we went to the counter they told us that our program expired on Dec 31, 2012 not 2013! - they won't honor the redemption even though their own salesman made the mistake writing the date a year later. They told us we can purchase the item we chose at cost and give them another $250! The duration of the warranty not the expiry date is not stated anywhere on the agreement nor the invoice (not even on any fine print - I checked)). We were suppose to know that "PP4FTV-52", itemized on our invoice, stands for a four year warranty - also does not indicate that this period includes the manufacturer's warranty period of one year! Which to me would be a 3 year extended warranty not a 4 year one. To top it off you can't talk to corporate customer service to voice your complaint. Its hard not to speculate that the lack of clarity on their warranty documents opens up for easily deceiving customers so that they don't have to meet their warranty/agreement obligations
